Job Description

Racing Force USA, Inc, is hiring for an open position available for individuals who have a passion for motorsports and are interested in the racing safety equipment business and joining our team in our Mooresville, North Carolina location.

In-person position with a Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule

Job Summary:   

Provide technical helmet and customer service support to staff including helmet assembly, helmet repairs, general maintenance, customer service repairs and other duties as assigned. Assist in the charging and servicing of fire extinguishers. Provide support for Distribution including pick and pack, shipping and inventory counting as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

Helmet Technical Support

  • Assemble custom painted helmets
  • Perform helmet repairs and general maintenance as needed

Custom Helmet Shop

  • Build and assemble custom helmets and coordinate with custom painters as directed by motorsports staff
  • Install helmet accessories and other kits as requested by motorsports, sales/distribution
  • Inspect and repair helmets as requested by sales/distribution/customer service
  • Maintain all custom part inventory – Operations Manager of custom part shortages
  • Take pictures of all custom helmets and save images on the network drive for archive
  • Maintain Snell, FIA logs and driver build sheets

Customer Service

  • Coordinate and facilitate repairs as part of the product returns process
  • Inspect and repair helmet returns from customers and dealers
  • Provide technical support for sales staff including answering product questions from customers
  • Install helmet accessories and other kits when requested by motorsports or sales/distribution
  • Install helmet radio kits
  • Charge and service fire extinguishers/fire suppression systems

Distribution

  • Assist with picking and packing orders in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assist with processing customer shipments
  • Participate in inventory counting
  • Assist with the unloading and shelf stocking of helmets and accessories

Other

  • Maintain thorough general and technical knowledge of products
  • Other duties as required

Skills & Experience

  • Attention to detail is required – assembling a safety product!
  • Mechanically Inclined (ability/strength to do assembly work and repairs)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
  • Proficient in Windows-based applications including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Willingness and ability to travel if needed
  • Ability to learn to use a fork lift (must have current drivers’ license)
  • Professional and personable demeanor
  • Experience in and knowledge of manufacturing/distribution preferred
